Description:* Day to day duties/Job Description/Tools Requirements: Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, access, and backup for enterprise wide systems. Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications. Troubleshoot system issues, resolve or recommend solutions. Create and manage system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures. Create patches and updates as needed. Participate in the definition and implementation of system components including new servers, hardware, software and upgrades. Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot operating systems. Must possess solid knowledge of operating systems and networking hardware and software. Experience functioning in a Systems Administrator capacity is required. Must Haves: 3-5 years as a Systems admin working with Tableau, can also be a hybrid Tableau Admin and Tableau Developer Large enterprise experience, working with large user base Soft Skills: • Stakeholder management and relationship-building • Strong communication Responsibilities: • Working to give new hires access to databases (Tableau, Origami), removing employees access when they leave Uber • Create new groups within the dashboards and giving them access • Monthly reporting for the team, presenting to the stakeholders • Working closely with the stakeholders, planning their associate work for the next weeks/months • They will be working a lot with tableau, Ubers claims management tool – Origami, and their mobile analytics and visualization tool – Interana Administer third-party tools including on-boarding new team members and off-boarding team members leaving: -Tableau -Origami -Interana Future third-party tools (were participating in a POC with other Uber teams to evaluate other BI tools like ThoughtSpot, Sisense, Mix Panel) Access control auditing and reporting for all third-party BI tools -Origami: monthly and annual reporting -Safety Incident dashboard access reporting to S&I Leadership and Legal Conduct regular proactive reviews of the environment, provide regular reports on availability, usage, and growth Build and maintain strong relationships with important partners including engineering, infosec, privacy, and legal. Partner with other teams on various systems projects including system upgrades, implementation of new policies, and POCs.
