The Testing Lead is a hands-on position, responsible for coordinating, organizing, and controlling testing activities assigned. This role includes supporting resources, coordinating and managing the efforts of the projects testing team members, contractors and consultants in order to deliver quality projects according to plan. The Testing Lead will follow defined project management processes and methodologies set forth by the PMO. Required: o 3-5 years experience as a testing lead or QA manager o Experience creating test plans, test cases, testing tracking status for white box testing o Experience tracking and statusing testing issues to management o Proficient understanding of software testing and QA methodologies and processes o Experience managing or coordinating testing with business and end users. o Demonstrated knowledge of defect management and testing life cycles including differences between issues, enhancements, and defects. o Experience with project management software including Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and MS Office suite, Visio. o Excellent oral and written communications skills which demonstrate the ability to effectively convey and explain information, and tactfully deal with diverse people, situations and ideas. o Demonstrated ability to conceive, plan, and organize assignments as well as possess the ability to monitor performance according to priorities as demonstrated by regularly meeting established deadlines. Preferred: o Experience creating business requirements documents, work flows, use cases o Experience using JIRA, or HP Quality Center, HP QTP preferred o Testing experience with Salesforce, FileNet, IVR, and hosted HR related web applications a plus Duties will include: o Lead and execute the testing strategy o Lead and assist in the creation of test artifacts such as test plans, test cases and validate them against functional requirements and design documents o Lead and participate in the testing effort of various applications of varying size and scope, for assigned project managers, partnering with functional and technical teams to incorporate industrys best practices on test strategy and approach to successful test execution and results o Monitor and record defects found, track status of defects, and verify resolution. o Provide testing status to application project manager and overall testing status Center management o Assist in other software integration testing and UAT projects as needed.
