This requires advanced understanding of merchandising, forecasting, replenishment, store planning and supply chain solutions such as SAP (MM, SD, IS-R, WMS), Oracle MMS, TIBCO (BW, MDM, BPM). Additional responsibilities include technical leadership, mentoring other team members, and leading projects. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Meets with business partners, project managers, and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals, identify and resolve system issues, and lead prioritization of build items. Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications to stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood. Translates conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team. This includes creating process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the team. Leads design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow; documents risks and identifies mitigation strategies. Defines, analyzes, and evaluates existing business functions and processes and makes recommendations to management on opportunities for process improvements. Performs and/or coordinates configuration changes for applications in the area of responsibility. Participates in the execution of test cases as part of the Quality Assurance process. Reviews system design plans for reasonableness and fit with the business requirements. Conducts research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts Provides orientation to end users for modifications to existing processes and new functionality. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems. 6 to 8+ years of experience supporting Merchandising, Forecasting, Replenishment, Store Planning and supply chain solutions such as TIBCO (BW, MDM, BPM, ESB), SAP (MM, SD, IS-R, WMS), Oracle MMS, JDA MMS, Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems Experience with Master Data Management project such as Data Quality, Data Governance, Workflow required Experience building TIBCO BPM, MDM, or BW solutions preferred, Working knowledge for building front ends for BPM applications (HTML5, Javascript frameworks) required Strong proficiency with Data Modeling Experience and understanding of Webservices concepts SOAP / HTTP and REST / JSON required Strong proficiency in building SQL queries and optimization concepts required Working knowledge of J2EE application on application server (JBOSS, Weblogic or WebSphere) Knowledge of programming language (XML technologies (e.g. XSD, XPATH, XSLT) Working knowledge of JMS compliant messaging concepts Working knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems Experience with monitoring systems and how to construct monitoring rules Experience in integration with SAP and SharePoint preferred, but not required Advanced knowledge of merchandising business processes. These include forecasting, replenishment, allocations, purchasing, order management, store planning, assortment planning, master data, pricing, and promotions. Advanced knowledge of MMS. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Advanced ability to work independently, work in a fast paced environment, and manage workload prioritization to deliver high quality work products on time with minimal direction.
