The PLC system is responsible for machine and human safety and is a critical part of the system. The PLC GUI is the window to the PLC system Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Top 3: Gather requirements for Machine Control and HMI/GUI Software Architect HMI/GUI SW, implement the design and manage the release of this software Drive field acceptance testing of hardware and software Additional: Support architecting the Machine Control System for RAPID machines Help with selecting various PLC components that meets safety and machine protection requirements Perform root cause analysis for failures and implement solutions Requirements: Must Haves: Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years experience in programming with Ignition SW from Inductive Automation Expert knowledge in Ignition Excellent controls design, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have: Credential/Certification form Inductive University highly desired Knowledge of programming in ladder and statement logic is a plus Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems is a big plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
