The Reporting Analyst will be able to understand business activities in a business/functional area and be able to capture requirements, identify potential data sources, recommend appropriate scope and understand and support the data strategy, keeping in mind data governance and compliance guidelines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Solicit and document requirements for dashboards, reports and visualizations Design and develop dashboards, reports and visualizations Maintain report documentation and data dictionary Monitor reporting systems for issues with data and report executions Provide daily support for reporting systems, which includes maintenance and enhancements to reporting systems as well as responding to assigned tickets, troubleshooting and final resolution Ensure all reports and data transfers comply with HIPAA security guidelines In collaboration with others, develop and maintain databases and reporting systems necessary for projects and department functions Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES: Proficient in SQL development and troubleshooting, including developing stored procedures and ETL processes, such as SSIS Proficient in reporting technologies, such as SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Experience with MS SQL Server or other Relational database systems Ability to effectively interpret and analyze data Experience in database design and data modeling Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Establishes effective work relations; willingly and skillfully manages conficts Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience 2 years experience in reporting and analytics 2 years experience with Relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server Exposure and general understanding of Healthcare, preferred Notes : No subvending and no visa transfer candidates.
