These duties will include monitoring and maintaining application servers and domain servers. Additionally this individual will be responsible for managing IT projects, deploying new solutions and making recommendations on future IT initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Under general supervision, perform analytical and technical work in the planning, design, and installation of new and existing personal computer systems. Troubleshoot PC related problems, analyze potential solutions, and implement a solution that best fixes any problems. The problems are generally complex in nature, where only the most complex issues require outside assistance. Confer with end users to determine hardware, software, and PC requirements. Conduct research and analysis on the installation and configuration of PC systems. Assist in the process of evaluating and recommending new hardware and software applications. May train end users in the use of equipment and software. Performs other duties as required. Maintain PC and server inventory. Assist in planning and implementing systems upgrades, both from a hardware and software and application perspective.
