This will require more than user interface design and web site development, but instead focuses on the desired outcomes of the cus-tomer through goal-oriented interaction design. The new design should not ignore the rules of form and aesthetics, but must work in harmony with the larger concern of achieving user goals via appropriately designed behaviors. Agency Expected Deliverables 1) Deliver a functioning prototype of a web site that provides client access to services through goal-oriented custom-er interaction. 2) Involve department personnel during the development process to ensure effective communication of the design and related frameworks and strategies. 3) Work with department personnel to develop plans for on-going evolution of the web site features and capabilities. Required Skills: Minimum of 6 years experience in UI and interaction design of online self service systems. * Experience creating solutions that provide flexibility in the management of health and human services, service providers, partners and client outcomes. * Experience with scenario-based design that focuses on meeting the goals and needs of the specific user personas instead of the traditional focus on the tasks to be performed by the user. * Experience researching and incorporating outcomes from user behavior analysis. * Have the ability to work collaboratively with design, development, product and marketing management to design and develop a web site using goal-oriented customer interaction design principles and strategies. * Knowledge of traditional health and human services and benefits and the delivery of those services and benefits will be helpful. * Experience developing highly interactive web sites. * Expertise with design tools such as Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. * Experience with CSS/HTML/JavaScript and prototyping and wireframe creation tools such as Azure and iRise. * Demonstrate solid design and project scoping skills to assist the project teams with work estimates and planning. * Good knowledge of graphic design techniques and software. * Experience creating secure web sites and web services leveraging both hardware and software based security mechanisms. * Experience with security software packages and related procedures to design webs sites that will effectively administer user access and ensure adherence to security policies and procedures. * Experience creating web sites that are available to the largest possible audience, supporting all modern and widely used browsers. * Experience delivering solutions that provide mechanisms to audit security access control. * Experience delivering solutions that provide mechanisms to assess and analyze the flow of customer interaction and site usage. * Experience developing e-commerce web sites with shopping cart features. * Experience developing web sites that provide the ability for the customer to interact with live resources (click-to-talk, click-to-chat).   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
