Job Description Architect: UI, JAVA SCRIPT, Implementation, Documentation

Description:

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

Coordinate the activities of the project teams.
Understand and implement Integrated Justice Portal standards related to application technologies, including UI standards, development methodology, and coding and style guides.
Act as the primary technical liaison with technical infrastructure teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues impacting application performance.
Act as a specialist for IBM WebSphere Portal Server (HCL Digital Experience), leading an upgrade of portal themes and skin along with moving JSF portlets from 1.2 to JSF 2+
Work with the Infrastructure team to execute performance test planning and execution failure failover planning and execution, endurance testing, and deployment planning and testing.
Provide the analysis, design development, and code review enterprise applications using JSF, JavaScript, and Ajax in the IBM Portal (HCL Digital Experience) environment.
Perform oversight of development activities, including data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, preparing logical database models, testing, and implementation.
Prepare and review technical documentation such as designs and schemas.
Provide technical guidance to a team of developers.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Five years demonstrated experience with implementing Health Care Systems.
84 months experience designing and implementing highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object-Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture involving data structures, algorithms, software design, JEE Design Patterns, IBM Portal (HCL Digital Experience), JavaScript, and AJAX.
48 months designing, building, upgrading, and supporting custom themes and skins in IBM WebSphere Portal (HCL Digital Experience) version 6.0 or 6.1
48 months designing, building, upgrading, and supporting custom themes and skins in IBM WebSphere Portal (HCL Digital Experience) version 8 or greater
48 months experience planning, designing, implementing, and upgrading JSF 1.0 thru 1.2 in IBM WebSphere Portal (HCL Digital Experience).
48 months experience planning, designing, implementing, and upgrading JSF 2+ in IBM WebSphere Portal (HCL Digital Experience).
