Description :

Quality Assurance Analyst - Experis is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for a 7+Month Contract Project in Irvine, CA with one of the nations most respected companies.

The Quality Assurance Analyst would be responsible for the following:

o The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting system testing and facilitate testing activities for all business applications in support of all information systems and development projects, especially moderate to large complex projects.
o Actively review, develop and execute test plans for multiple projects simultaneously.
o Analyze business application requirements to determine testability and design documents to develop test approach and test plan.
o Manage and execute test plans and test cases, test defects and enhancements and report on test progress.
o Participate in the deployment of all software changes resulting from work orders, including test case scenario development, test environment preparation, and test case execution and management.
o Conduct impact analysis, identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues appropriately.
o Assist in developing methodologies and approaches that support new or changing service areas.
o Interact and effectively communicate with business partners and other IT staff. Act as an information resource by providing assistance and support to team members.

Are you interested? The ideal Quality Assurance Analyst will possess the following:

o BS/BA degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related field strongly preferred
o Expert level experience with Visual Studio, 2008 or 2010
o Expert Level experience with Coded UI
o Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on software QA testing experience specializing in Microsoft .Net technologies.
o 1 year of experience demonstrating leadership working in groups to identify business solutions and solve problems.
o Hands-on knowledge and use of standard software testing tools, documentation, and implementation of new or enhanced business systems and processes.
o Proven ability to establish test data and maintain a testing environment using mainframe and client-server tools for running jobs and copying data.
o 2+ years experience testing Microsoft SQL Server databases.
o 2+ years experience utilizing Mercury/HP QTP and LoadRunner testing tools.
o Knowledge and understanding of Protected Health Information (PHI) is desired.
o Patient Health Record (PHR)/Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Electronic Health Record (HER) implementation using HL7 and/or C-48 interoperability is REQUIRED.


Candidates must be detail oriented and possess the ability to problem solve and work within a teamwork environment. Must show a commitment to excellence and posses strong communication skills. ALL candidates MUST be available to interview and work on-site in the IRVINE, CA area. NO EXCEPTIONS. Telecommuting is NOT available.
