The descriptions below are not intended to completely describe all of the work that the contractor candidate would need to perform to complete the work required under the Work Order resulting from this Work Request. The work will include, but is not limited to, the following: • Participate in a critical role, as a Senior Systems Analyst, for the Structured Settlement Agreements IT Project, which is a part of EHB 2123 Program, which is currently in effect during the 2011-2013 biennium. • Leverage the Systems Analyst role in support of all of the IT projects efforts in implementing a quality solution in the delivery of a new computer system to the Structured Settlements business unit. • Adhere to agency standards, including architectural standards, standard development methodologies, establishment of appropriate systems documentation, and systems analysis best practices. • Use of agency standard software and desktop tools for developing various deliverables and work products. • Perform system analysis activities and deliverables commonly used across a full SDLC and project implementation life-cycles. • Participate in the projects analysis phase involving business/stakeholder teams as assigned to develop, review, and update project documentation as required. • Participate in the projects design phase with development of functional specifications and/or Use Case development and elaborations with developer teams. Document the functional design of the solution from the requirements. • Augment the projects technical team by driving technical designs while working closely with the IT core developer team. • Participate in the projects test phase with test planning, defining, and managing the testing cycles and processes. Assist in identification and preparation of test data that helps the customer group support testing of specific conditions. Modify and retest application programs based upon customer identification of system regression tests. • Support customer training – Where appropriate and necessary, assist the customer in preparation of training by developing training data and a mechanism to refresh data in the training environment. • Support implementation – Provide project team support during application releases to production. • Provide post implementation support – Provide support for system incidents and defect resolution. • Prepare various documentation – Provide documentation for project meetings, presentations, and deliverables at L&Is request. • Keep a detailed timesheet showing all work performed by Service Request number and title or work assignment title broken down to the quarter hour. Invoices will be based on hours worked which will be accurately reflected in corresponding timesheets for each pay period. • Provide status reporting –Provide input or feedback to the manager, technical lead, customers and other team members. Provide weekly written status reports describing progress on assigned service requests or problem calls, planned tasks, and potential issues. Required Skills : • Proficiently creating SQL Scripts to be used for database creation and/or modification and migration of legacy data to new designs • Expertise in fully developing System Requirements Specification (SRS), Functional Specifications, and/or Use Case documentation • Developing SQL scripts for loading or converting data tables or creating or modifying test databases • Systems Analyst must have some knowledge and experience with the software development lifecycle and associated deliverables related to Agile and Waterfall SDLCs • Knowledge and experience with system development   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
