Description :
Client is currently searching for a NMS Engineer for the Alpharetta, GA.
The ideal profile would be a Network Management System engineer with Eye of the Storm experience. HP Open View or other NMS tool knowledge is mandatory. Unix/Linux is a plus.
The manager will also consider someone with strong HP Openview (Network Node Manager).

Consultant will utilize the Nokia standard tool set and be responsible for configuring the parameters of the tools to obtain the optimum alerts, reporting information, and other details to allow engineers and management to understand the status of the network. The primary tool is Entuitys Eye of the Storm (which is an OEM product from BMC). It is Unix based. The engineer does not need to install or administer the system, but instead focuses on setting the configuration details across the infrastructure to include thresholds, prioritization of alerts and alarms, proactive notification of problems, and dashboard information to enable engineers to manage the network.
Experience with alternative tools may be suitable, as long as they are Unix based, such as HP Openview or others.
