Job Description Administrator: Unix, Linux, SAP, SQL Server Oracle

[Note : This is an Immediate Need just had a backout for this role, in commack Long Island needs to be able to start ASAP

Experience:



· 4+ years experience as a Database Administrator with relational database systems in a Windows/UNIX/Linux Server enterprise environment (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle).

· 4+ years experience as a Database Administrator working with database security, administration, maintenance and performance of enterprise Business Applications (e.g. SAP).

· 4+ current years experience with enterprise backup / restoration solutions (e.g. EMC Networker,) including SRDF, BCVs and Split Mirror technologies.

· Experience supporting databases in a clustered and virtualized (e.g. VMWARE ESX) environment.

· Experience with enterprise ticketing solutions (e.g. BMC Remedy).

· Prior pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience desirable.



Licensure/Credentials:



Oracle RAC Expert, Performance Tuning or Implementation Specialist certification is a plus.

Knowledge of ITIL processes required (v3). ITIL certification is a plus.

· Perform installation of Oracle 10g / 11g from scripts

· Perform patching and updating of Oracle 10g / 11g from scripts
