This motivated self-starter will participate in the full product development life cycle from new project development to maintenance and production support activities across our suite of mission-critical applications, and must be well versed in all aspects of software development. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of Java/J2EE development and production support experience 5+ years demonstrated knowledge of the Unix/Linux platform 5+ years of demonstrated experience in software lifecycle development Hands on experience in developing and successfully deploying two or more large scale, Java/J2EE projects from end-to-end Demonstrated excellence in delivering quality software products Extensive knowledge and application of Java best practices and J2EE design patterns along with experience with application servers (i.e. WebLogic, JBoss) and Oracle database servers within a Unix/Linux context Hands-on experience with n-tier J2EE technologies such as role based authentication/authorization, workflow, web services, ESB, JMS, Enterprise Beans, Spring/Hibernate, Struts, Ant, JDBC, JMX, securing Java applications, OS/file level security, SOAP, XML, XSD, XSLT, parsers, and UML documentation Highly motivated self-starter who solves problems with a business centric view Understanding of performance analysis fundamentals and tuning techniques Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
