Responsible for Capacity Planning and Disaster Recovery Planning and design as applicable. Expert level architecture design of the vxRails and vSAN environments. Recommend changes to procedures which result in operational optimization Participate in Root Cause Analysis reviews when applicable Produce documentation for procedures for the compute environment Integrating enterprise backup applications with applications: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Exchange, etc. Managing large BRS deployments (i.e. deploying agents across an enterprise server environment, automating backups, generating usage reports, etc.) vxRails, VCF, SDDC and NSX tuning and performance measurement/reporting Qualifications: Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e. a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design Expert – 84+ months - Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 84 Months of experience in Planning, designing and installation of storage, and backup solutions, with EMC, Networker, or VEEAM technologies 84 Months of experience in supporting, troubleshooting, virtual infrastructure, VMware technologies 84 Months of experience in developing disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans. 84 Months of experience in Installing and configuring Converged and HCI compute environments and technologies 84 Months of experience and expertise in supporting VMware virtual environments 84 Months of experience in automating jobs via scripting languages for storage arrays, and/or virtual environments 84 Months of experience in optimization, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level storage technologies 84 Months of experience in hands on experience on performance tuning and load balancing.
