REQUIRED SKILLS: Developer of IVR applications in VXML using Invision studio or JAVA. 6+years of professional experience as an IVR Developer with development, deployment and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment. Experience in all phases of the SDLC with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation Working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/methodologies Demonstrated experience with version control tools such as Subversion Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation BS Computer Science or specialized training PREFEERED SKILLS * Strong working knowledge of IVRs (Convergys) * knowledge of Call Routing Platforms (Genesis) * Strong working knowledge of Telecom Carriers and circuit protocols RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating software development activities throughout the project, including key design decisions for the technology, structure and configuration of the system. Be familiar with systems, concepts, design and standards. Provide technical expertise in terms of software usage, functionality, performance, aesthetics, resilience, reuse Design and code java application frameworks and Proof of Concept applications to validate software system design and aid in leveraging junior application developers.
