SCOPE OF WORK:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Client is seeking the expertise of a consulting firm or individual
consultant to provide an environmental scan and recommendations regarding Clients data warehouse environment, which includes Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (DW/BI) systems, Tools, and Methods. Areas for consideration include, but are not limited to, the following:

*Extract/Transformation/Load (ETL) Processes
*Reporting Structure
*Master Data Management
*Infrastructure
*Quality Measures Data Extraction Process, i.e., HEDIS measures

DELIVERABLESL:

*Methodology
*Timeline/Project Plan
*List of deliverables including:
• Executive Summary
• Recommendations/Roadmap
The final deliverable will be due 60 days following date of award

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

*Cognos 8.3 (planning to upgrade to Cognos 10.1)
*Oracle 10g
*Disk space approximately 10T, two billion rows
*LINUX


OFFERORS QUALIFICATIONS
1.1 There is a preference for a consultant with significant experience with healthcare
practice and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a data warehouse
environment.
1.2 Attach a copy of your resume or curriculum vitae.
1.3 Attach a brief description of your experience providing the variety of tasks listed on
pages 5-6. This is to supplement 1.1.
1.4 Attach a detailed description of how the offeror will complete the Scope of Work,
within the framework of this project. Please include the following:
• Methodology
• Timeline/Project Plan
• List of deliverables including:
• Executive Summary
• Recommendations/Roadmap
The final deliverable will be due 60 days following date of award.

FIRMS REFERENCES
Attach a list of at least three (3) professional references, (healthcare-related preferred)
which would demonstrate the offeror possesses an understanding and the experience in
providing the required service. References should be verifiable and be able to comment
on the offerors related experience. Please provide the following information for
references: company name; contact persons name; address; phone number; and start
date and completion date of work. These references may be checked, so insure all
information is current, accurate and prior permission to use is obtained from each
reference.
