MUST HAVES:

***Very strong preference for local to Arizona candidates***

- ETL testing experience, ideally with Informatica or a similar tool, but can work with any sort of ETL testing or possibly big data otherwise.

- Generalized automation testing, any experience with Jmeter or BlazeMeter would be great specifically.

- API testing. Any experience with REST or SOAP or READY API would be great too. This role is exclusive to Apex and is a backfill for our contractor. They converted her to FTE after just 9 months or so and also sponsored her H-1, so you can sell that to candidates as a potential too.

- Any experience with Tibco would be a huge plus, as they are going to be working on TIbco in the role, but not required.

AUTOMATION ENGINEER


Summary:

PetSmart is aggressively accelerating its pet services software capabilities and we are looking for experienced leaders who can drive us forward. We are seeking a POS (Point of Sale) Automation Engineer with grounded experience in IT Quality Assurance procedures, processes and tools. This role will provide hands-on support creating a comprehensive set of automation test scripts and E2E automation test execution on an Enterprise Retail POS solution. Resource will work within the QA team to ensure industry testing standards and best practices are followed during development and implementation of our POS Upgrade program.



Responsibilities Include:

· Development of Automation scripts via conversion of manual Test Cases using Tricentis Tosca Automation tool

· Establish effective automation test strategy, plans and test scripts in alignment to POS QA Project schedules

· Provide frequent knowledge transfer sessions to POS QA team on automation artifacts developed for each test cycle and test script execution options

· Support maintenance and enforcement of POS QA Test Strategy standards, procedures and best practices during each phase of testing.

· Provide input to all automation scoping activities, automation approach recommended on project; estimated scope of automation work and timeline for completion.

· Solid understanding of basic automation infrastructure and can effortlessly formulate strategies on how to leverage infrastructure features to optimize automation script execution

· Develop and provide ongoing input to QA tracking metrics on automation development and execution progress

· Understanding and planning towards future usage of developed Tosca automation artifacts and module libraries

· Working with QA and Analysts to translate Business Requirements into detailed Test Cases

· Ensure tight integration of automation artifacts with cloud Enterprise Test Management platform

· Ensure that unit testing, code reviews, functional testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, etc. are implemented and completed to meet functionality, performance, scalability and security goals

· Guide IS and Business partner teams through Testing Strategy, findings,
