Candidate should broad general knowledge and experience in managing or deploying of infrastructure technologies including but not limited to: server hardware and operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix), databases, network, web technologies, messaging, storage (NAS/SAN), security, etc. Desired candidate to have strong Operating System, Database, and Storage experience. Position ensures that proposed infrastructure solutions adhere to current technical and architectural standards and policies. Position will serve as needed as a technical infrastructure project lead and demonstrate the ability to lead planning, design and implementation of project infrastructure needs. Responsibilities include: Maintain and build the relationship with the client project team Develop and review detailed technical requirements documentation The ability to clearly capture and articulate the clients non-functional requirements, partner with the client and infrastructure architecture groups to identify infrastructure solutions. Verify project solution adherence to our technical and architectural standards, policies and SOPs Manage the delivery of infrastructure components resulting from submitted shared services work requests with clear deliverables and timelines Coordination of technology and people resources to meet program schedules Provide technical support for program team during project development and implementation phases Ensuring service delivery and satisfaction through regular communication of implementation status to management and program team Provide appropriate escalation of problems, risks and issues to project management and stakeholders Collaborate with IS Compliance, Validation, Quality and other compliance and regulatory groups to reduce risk exposure and improve adherence to GxP requirements as required. Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: Education & IS Experience o Masters degree & 3 years of IS experience OR o Bachelors degree & 5 years of IS experience OR o Associates degree & 10 years of IS experience 3+ years experience managing, supporting and implementing infrastructure components (servers, storage,networks, databases or middleware) 2+ years of project lead experience 1+ year of requirements gathering and documentation for IS projects Working knowledge and use of appropriate computer applications and tools to collect, develop, analyze and process data to report on and achieve departmental goals and needs Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science of the Life Sciences Experience with regulated systems (GxP, SOX) in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare experience Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure technologies and domains servers, storage, network, hardware, database, virtualization, disaster recovery and information security Demonstrated success in leading multi-functional initiatives without formal authority Ability to liaise effectively with multi-functional teams Effective project management skills including familiarity with RUP methodology and Microsoft Project software Strong influencing and negotiating skills Effective working with virtual teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills Successful management of multiple priorities Ability to interact with key IS technical and a   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
