Description:

Under the direction of the Systems Administration Manager, the Unix Administrator is responsible for planning, monitoring, and implementing code on Unix, and Linux based Systems. They must provide and demonstrate excellent customer service while ensuring uninterrupted operation of the production environment as it relates to these systems. The Unix Administrator will assist the team in analyzing proposed and actual project requirements in consideration of resources for implementation and support as well as effect on current system configurations. The Unix Administrator will be accountable for ensuring scheduled operational processing meets existing Service Level Agreements and that the Unix Administration staff complies with the defined procedures outlined by IT Operations.

We need someone with strong Unix skills that will help implement code in AIX.

· OS/Tech updates and upgrades

· AIX 6.1 & 7.1

· Completely systems related

· Deploy code, CRS, write and run Korn Shell scripting

· Security standards and process/procedures

· Troubleshooting servers

· Clustering

· GPFS
