Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and own execution of integrated communications plan, with a clear alignment and integration with Emerging Solutions Group and Chief Globalisation Office
Collaborate with offices of Cisco executive stakeholders to align, synchronize and ensure adoption and understanding of ECC messaging and strategy.
Develop strategy for communicating to stakeholders within Cisco, including the broader community and specifically within the Council and Country Boards
Create original content, extract salient information from multiple sources and synthesize information to make relevant for target audiences.
Develop communication deliverables including announcements, blogs, briefing materials, feature articles, video scripts, voice mail scripts and email messages
Assist with data collection and analysis including identifying research reports, articles, studies and other sources of information
Liaise with key teams across multiple functions including Business Development, Sales Enablement, Solutions Development, Marketing, and Communications

Skills required:

Excellent written communication skills
Strong powerpoint capabilities
Strategic thinking and analysis to formulate communication strategies for thought leadership
Intellectual curiosity and ability to understand macro- and geo-economics
Ability to work globally, across cultures, leadership styles, teams and time zones.
Ability to turn complex ideas into stories and visual concepts easily understood by a broad audience.
Flexible and resilient problem solver with the ability to gain consensus among others and manage sensitive situations.
Strong executive influence skills; intuitive ability to read people, push where appropriate, and simply execute when necessary.
Independent worker; flexible, resilient, takes initiative.
Solid project management skills, with the ability to meet milestones, tight deadlines, and communicate status on concurrent projects.
