Job Description Engineer: Microsoft Word, MS Visio, SharePoint, MS Powerpoint MS Excel Technical Documen

** Only W2 Employee - No Subcontracting

OT - Extra Hours on Weekdays and Saturdays

Description
SENIOR TECHNICAL WRITER

POSITION SUMMARY: Experienced technical writer required for production of highly technical client-facing product documentation of Financial software platforms.

DOCUMENTATION FORMATS: Printed/Electronic guides.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years minimum experience producing technical documentation, preferably in the software systems area.

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science or English.

• Working knowledge of open APIs and web services

• Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to build a rapport with distributed engineers, working closely with them to produce comprehensive documentation that describes sophisticated infrastructure platforms for internal support staff consumers.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be able to juggle multiple projects under deadlines while being flexible to accommodate shifting schedules.

• Self starter. Must be able to take projects and run with them with very little supervision. Must be analytical with a thirst for new technological knowledge. Proven track record of performing research and independent self-study as part of production of documentation deliverables.

• Strong Visio skills/experience.

• Knowledge/experience of documentation standards and processes with ability and willingness to collaborate with peers in the documentation team to develop and refine them.

• Experience documenting open APIs and web services.

• Experience working in a financial services environment is a plus.

• Knowledge of Fiserv financial products and services is a plus.
