IT services necessary for the completion/deployment, required maintenance and enhancement for the following: Create all new computer and laptop images with the IRS / HIPAA / SSA mandated security enhancements. Maintain, update and modify all existing computer and laptop images to the latest patch, virus and security standards. Management, installation and monitoring of operating system and productivity software hotfixes and updates for all DSS computers and laptops using a centralized patch management deployment methodology. Provide ongoing support of required documentation for asset Management and the tracking of Adds, Moves and Changes of DSS equipment. Provide daily support to end users currently utilizing McAfee Endpoint Encryption (MEE) software. Provide first and second level support for network, diagnoses and resolution of network problems, and configuration of network components SCOPE OF WORK As part of the Information Technology Services (ITS), the consultant will be required to troubleshoot hardware, software and networking problems; interface with customers and vendors in person or by telephone to troubleshoot and resolve problems. The consultant will provide LAN support and support for computer equipment located throughout the state (2800+ desktops, 100+ laptops, 400+ networked multi-function devices and networked printers) at multiple locations across the state. Specific Services Required Desktop Services: Considerable imaging and deployment experience required. Familiarity with Free Open Ghost (FOG) a plus; but not required. GHOST 8.0 or above experience a must. Diagnoses and resolves PC and simple software problems using a variety of diagnostic tools; uses diagnostic tools to identify hardware and/or software problems and initiates repair; rebuilds PCs and reconfigures user specific settings; installs new software releases of simple to moderate complexity; coordinates installation of and installs, modifies and maintains network components and PC hardware and/or software; assists in implementation of network and/or system hardware and software upgrades and/or enhancements; configures and installs terminal emulation software for host connection; performs related duties as required.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
