Job Description Developer: PeopleSoft GL Development, Peoplesoft Financial, XML Publisher, PeopleSoft Security ERP SDLC Change Mana

Description:

Must have experience with PeopleSoft GL.

Years Experience/Education:
- 8+ plus Years
- Bachelors in EE, CS, Math or Related Field

Consultant will be required to define, develop, and deploy technology solutions in the Peoplesoft Financials Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) suite and related systems to achieve business outcomes. These activities will be performed in close consultation with business stakeholders and users from multiple departments.

Required Skills:

Techno-functional expertise in PeopleSoft Financials Suite of applications notably GL, AP and Purchasing.

Technical expertise in PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Workflow, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, Integration Broker, Application Messaging, Application Packaging, XML Publisher, Peoplesoft Security;

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Develops, enhances and integrates technical components while ensuring adherence to Security, Enterprise Architecture, SDLC, Change Management and application development guidelines.

Creates high-level designs for potential technology solutions, this may require the development of a prototype to demonstrate proof of concept.

Defines detailed technical specifications.

Conducts unit testing, integrated testing, and may participate in regression testing to ensure that solutions meet specifications.

Technical Experience:


Solid technology and functional knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft Financials Suite (v 9.2 preferred) of applications including General Ledger, Payable, Procurement, Travel, Commitment Control, Project Costing and Asset Management;

Solid knowledge and experience in the analysis, design and development using structured programming languages, and PeopleSoft development platform (PeopleTools (preferably 8.5x), Application Designer, PeopleCode, Workflow, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, Integration Broker, Application Messaging, Application Packaging, XML Publisher, Peoplesoft Security) is required;

Production support, performing minor and major enhancements, and upgrades for
the PeopleSoft Financials application suite;

Performing data analysis, using SQL query tools to develop information mappings, conversion requirements, and application data models;

Working with Microsoft technologies (such as .Net, XML, SharePoint, MS Office, Azure, Dynamics), use of service-oriented architecture (web services), travel and mobile solutions, and COTS packages are highly desirable;

Using industry best practices in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT methodologies, services operations, ITIL, incident management, problem management, change management, control and security standards, such as COBIT and ISO27001 is desirable;
