Provides technical or functional guidance to project or work teams as needed within a specific discipline. Collaborates on an on-going basis with the Business Systems Analyst. Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains and/or enhances existing or new systems that are reliable and efficient. Responsibilities: Resource will work under the direction of the Development Manager on the following work efforts: Provide production support services for the entire Asset Suite application Participating in the weekly on call rotation for production support -Coding and testing of any ongoing support items, such as data modifications (example: if a work order is stuck, or a receipt cannot process) -Partnering with our functional customers to understand the issues, and collaborate on solutions. Document coding / testing changes per the existing FPL Software Quality Program. Work with the FPL application deployment teams to successfully migrate changes to production. Production downtime windows are every other Thursday from 7-9PM ET, so evening hours will also be required for this position. Candidate must have strong Asset Suite development knowledge, in order to immediately be effective. Ventyx Asset Suite 6.0.3 Ventyx Foundation Architecture NextAxiom HyperServiceStudio Oracle SQL, procedure, trigger writing Remedy Toad PVCS 7. Requirements: 3-5 years knowledge of Ventyx Asset Suite product set (version 6.0.3) and Foundation Architecture (FA) products (v 4.0 Metallic View). Strong knowledge of Asset Suite functionality Strong experience in COBOL, Unix scripting, Web services, Java, PVCS, Oracle and SQL, procedure, and trigger writing 1+ years of Compose and NextAxiom.
