Job Description Analyst: Tier 1 Support, Tier 2 Support, Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Products Software Applications

Description:

Scope of Services

This resource will primarily be tasked with performing providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support of medium to high complexity. Provide project management to support activities for FDOT including, but not limited to the following:
1. Upgrading Windows Server 2012 and 2016 servers to Windows server 2019 with minimal supervision.
2. Provide support for end users during the migration of their user ID and assigned computers from the District specific domain to the consolidated root domain.
3. Performing advanced troubleshooting to determine cause of problem. Installs, configures and provides user support of personal computers and Windows Servers to include software installation and upgrades, patches and advanced technical support within specified time frame.
4. Generates and maintains technical documentation as assigned.
Performs Active Directory administration following applicable standards and guidelines.

5 Education

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

6 Experience

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience.

7 Primary Job Duties/ Tasks

Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Project Manager; Analyst; Designer; Data Administration, Service Desk Queue Management, & Reception.

8 Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including installation and upgrading of server operating systems, Office Suite and Outlook in a networked environment.
2. Advanced knowledge of computer software, hardware, and firmware relative to personal computers.
3. Skilled at installing and providing technical support for software applications, operating systems and personal computer hardware.
4. Ability to do advanced troubleshooting on various manufacturers of computers.
