Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences across the organization. Candidate must have at least 3 years of progressive experience in the IT field supporting systems and services. An understanding of client/server network architectures including authentication and authorization considerations. Experience supporting Windows server technology, tiered applications, and complex enterprise systems that include geographically disbursed users. Able to fulfill 24/7 support of on-call incidents and implement off hours scheduled maintenance. Solid written and verbal communication skills; the ability to assess and troubleshoot systems infrastructure issues; and the ability to operate independently where appropriate and understand when to escalate issues to management. Candidate also must possess the following required skills: Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, 2003 Experience with Windows scripting and automation. Experience with web-tier technologies such as WebLogic and JBoss, a distinct advantage.
