Applications Architect, Advanced - 1220 1) Contractor will assist in developing and maintaining screens, batch processing, and correspondences related to functionality of Reemployment Assistance application (CONNECT) modules, and Initial and Continued Claims; 2) Contractor will analyze, architect and develop the solutions for CONNECT functionality related to Combine Wage Claims (CWC) as required by Interstate connectivity hub partners (centralized combined wage claim unit); 3) Contractor will analyze, design, and develop batches to process payments and retroactive payments in CONNECT to pay and collect benefit overpayments from recipients; 4) Provide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy; 5) Develop enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features; 6) Use a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers; 7) Provide expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business; 8) Determine specifications, then plan, design, and develop the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes – either individually or in concert with project team. Assist in the most difficult support problems; 9) Develop programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse; DEO Contract Number: C2270 Version Date: 041018 2 10) Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business. Operate both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines; 11) Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent. 2.0 Staff Qualifications and Performance Criteria Contractor shall possess the professional and technical staff necessary to perform the information technology staff augmentation services required by this contract and the staff shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the services assigned to them. A. Applications Architect, Advanced (1220) Contractor and/or Contractors Staff shall have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: 1) Experience with Reemployment Assistance (RA) CONNECT major modules of projects: a. Appeals; b. PI (NDNH, DOR, BTW, BAM); c. Charges; d. ICON batches; e. RETRO; f. Payments; g. Collections; h. Monetary; i.
