Under broad supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs computer software. Researches and analyzes program or systems problems and develops program documentation. Translates business requirements into development activities in secure and maintainable code. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in computer science or management information systems AND Six years of related experience. • Server Administration: Linux RHEL • Programming Languages: PHP (Symphony & Zend frameworks), HTML, CSS, Javascript frameworks, Python, Apex, JSON, Restful API, Django • Platforms: Drupal CMS, as well as Salesforce development • Agile SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, ITSM, ITIL, and PMP best practices • Tools: Github, ServiceNow, Jira, Zapier • Databases: SQL • Systems integration and data exchange using ETL and integration tools • Managing cloud website hosting platforms (Pantheon, Azure, AWS) • Incorporates strict application security methodologies into daily routine • University employment experience is a plus EMPLOYER: Professional Education (GTPE) is one academic unit within Georgia Tech with its own decentralized team of IT staff called Technology Services, a team of about 20 that serve on sub-teams related to Service Delivery, Helpdesk, AV, and Academic Program Support.
