These duties include helping troubleshoot and resolving issues, analyzing systems, auditing or verifying data, and testing and evaluating systems. They will work with specialized applications or cloud solutions that need to be customized to an organizations unique environment. This includes the scope of gathering and analyzing business needs in relation to the applications and using analysis to come to the correct resolution. This role will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments, along with a strong desire to learn and grow technically within a small team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone, voice mail, email, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with Information Systems supported by the Imaging team. • Interviews user to collect information about problem and leads user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of error. • Researches whether problem is caused by hardware, software, or process with the use of relational database queries and custom code review. • Contacts software and hardware vendors as needed to request service regarding defective products determined to be vendor hardware/software issues. • Tests software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work. • Assists in writing or revising user training manuals, FAQ, and procedures. Documents “how to” processes to increase user self-sufficiency. • Attention to details and a willingness to learn new technologies. • Primary work hours will be Monday – Friday 7am to 4pm. After hour and weekend support tasks may be needed on occasion. • Work Location will be the GA Dept. of Revenue Processing Center at: 4125 Welcome All Road, Atlanta GA 30349. Additional Qualifications: • Working knowledge of Opex or IBML imaging system solutions. • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL or Oracle PL/SQL. • Knowledge and experience working with commercial “off-the-shelf “software configurations. • Knowledge of C# and or VB.Net object-oriented programming. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite. • Strong analytical and communication skills Qualification Requirements: Candidates must possess a degree in one of the areas below or have 2-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience: • Information Technology • Computer/Management Information Systems • Computer Science   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
