Providing thought leadership for technical execution and architectural inputs Perform the initial assessment and design of test environments, test and automation frameworks, and continuous delivery frameworks and tools Overall technical designs and implementation oversight Develops the framework for testing processes solution i.e., Automation, Performance Engineering and security testing Mentoring and coaching Team building Project status reporting (Deliverables) Pro-actively analyse current processes and practices and suggest/ drive improvements. Defines/modifies processes as needed. Influences Technical direction and use of technologies after making necessary evaluations. QA/Test Lead Provide QA oversight and guidance to the QA resources on project teams. Act as an escalation point for issues that cant be solved within the project team. Support project on boarding. Provide hiring support, on boarding, mentoring/coaching and performance management for appropriate team resources. 27 Role Activities and Responsibilities: Track team performance and contributing to decisions around team management. Ensure team members are productive and working in an efficient manner. Create skill development plans and providing career counselling. Managing/prioritizing team workload, monitoring progress and ensuring deadlines are met. Provide governance on project deliverables. Perform strategy development and test planning. Provide peer reviews. Manage the defect resolution process. Report team status to the project manager or directly to the client. Ensure clients and stakeholders are kept up to date and informed. Ensure all levels of testing are performed with the right approach and adequate coverage.
