Competencies: Solid Python/Django skills, with good experience in backend web development. (Djando, Flask, or similar web frameworks would be ideal) Experience with front-end web development, specifically JavaScript frameworks. (React/Redux would be preferred) Databases, including SQL, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy Exposure to testing (unit tests, integration tests, functional tests) Linux system experience. Basic DevOps experience Git experience. We use GitLab to manage the software development process Ability to work both independently and as a member of a product team Good communication and interpersonal skills Cloud experience would be nice to have, specifically with Amazon Web Services Experience working with geospatial data is a nice to have.
