Responsibilities: Within the Design and Engineering, Customer Reporting solutions team, the candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end technical deployment of the reporting solution in close collaboration with the other tools teams, delivery organizations, account team and customer. Candidate is responsible for defining the end to end technical aspects of capability reporting solutions (identifying reporting gaps and dependencies; creating standard report mappings for legacy reports to FMO reporting; creating related reporting training; providing technical expertise related to day-to-day reporting issues). The candidate will work with the tools project manager and architects and will ensure the tools to deploy cover the functionality required for our customers. As a Subject Matter Expert, the candidate will handle the following activities. Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design solution to the problem as identified by the Project/Technical Manager. Regularly leads in the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer. Coordinates implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in the Reporting and Data Warehousing domains Responsible for understanding the customers current and future state reporting requirements, performing of gap analysis activities, execution of Report Migration activities, and support both Customer Acceptance Testing and Move to Production activities. Responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance on data extraction, data storage, and report generation of performance and operational metrics for Reporting Services customers and HP Management. Responsible for technical operation and expertise on the data feeds into and out of the Reporting Services Data Warehouse. Responsible for ensuring that each reporting solution is migrated successfully from the legacy architecture environment to the new architecture environment as required Review data extraction scripts to validate data, and work with System Managers to troubleshoot and investigate errors in data extraction Responsible for report configuration and customization, in-line with the customer requirements agreed in the statement of work Collects and determines data from appropriate sources to assist in determining customer needs and requirements. Responds to requests for technical information from customers. Develops customer technology solutions using various industry & HP Standard products and services. Engages in technical problem solving across multiple technologies; often needs to develop new methods to apply to the situation. Owns and manages knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project). Ensures team members support knowledge sharing and re-use requirements of project. Contributes significant knowledge to job family community. Proactively encourages membership and contributions of others to professional community and coaches others in area of expertise.
