Migrate all authorized users to include authorized users of mobile devices. 1. Design, install, and configure new physical or virtual servers in the existing VMware environment. 2. Design, install, and configure MS Exchange 2013 on 4 servers. Include the failover, fault tolerance, and redundancy processes required to meet the uptime expectations of the email environment. 3. Design and implement webmail access and encryption for all authorized users to include mobile device users. 4. Collaborate with IDOC IT engineers to migrate a pilot group with a third party software provided by the IDOC. 5. The Contractor shall start work immediately upon award of contract. Within the estimated 160 hours the contractor shall be available for consultation and collaboration from time to time through October 30, 2015. 6. IDOC reserves the right to interview qualified contractors prior to the PSO closing date to help accommodate our estimated start date. 7. Contractors are required to have an IDOC background check. Fingerprinting will also be required. Agency Expected Deliverables 1. Design the data architecture model necessary and implement the use of Exchange and Outlook software for a pilot group of 50 users at IDOC Central office in Boise and District 1in Coeur DLane by August 10, 2015. 2. Install 4 Exchange 2013 servers as physical instances or in a VMware environment to include redundancy, fault tolerance, and failover; 2 servers in each of the following locations: a. State Controllers Office data Center b. Second site in Idaho to be determined 3. Deliver the exchange and server architecture that will allow 24x7 email access services to the IDOC pilot group at a 99.5% uptime, including mobile device users. Access includes but is not limited to messages, calendars, and other resources through Outlook Client & Outlook Web Access. 4. Implement encryption for secure transactions. 5. Train IDOC team members on: a. Mail flow and configuration of Exchange/Outlook b. Troubleshooting and Recovery processes for common issues/outages/problems in Exchange env. c. Backup and recovery processes 6. Follow the IT timesheet requirements. (Please see attached process document.)
