Part of this effort includes working with the various DMV sections to map business processes, identify and document lTD requirements. Client needs a highly proficient Business Analyst to support the vaarious business process, data modelling, and process analysis tasks associated with Driver Licensing, Vehicle Registrations, and Commercial Vehicle Registrations. Knowledge of DMV operations especially in the area of Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration is highly desirable. All duties related to a Business Analyst category on the state contract. Facilitates the operational efficiency of the business processes within the Division, ensuring identification and adoption of newly designed processes and use of enhance information technology tools. Identify opportunity for business process improvement and develop and create new process innovations. Will capture current state and design state so that it aligns with business goals and objectives while looking for ways to streamline and reduce cost or time to deliver final products. Required Skills: * Extensive Business Process Analysis, Automation, Workflow, and Re-engineering experience. • Very strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of industry specific needs of the customer. • Expertise in strategic planning, change management, project management and tactical execution. • Possesses knowledge and experience leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvements. • Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organizations • systems and capabilities. • Understands the need to avoid optimizing one particular business segment/solution at the risk of sub-optimizing upstream/downstream business units, customers or solutions. • Highly experienced negotiation and presentation skills. • Able to function independently with minimal direction I guidance. • Fundamentals of process mapping experience.(i.e 6-sigma, LEAN, etc.) Additional requirements: a. Proven integrity, ethics, reliability and professionalism b. Demonstrated ability to train staff in new procedures and follow up to ensure learning is taking place and new processes are replacing outdated ones. c. Demonstrated adaptability and innovation in overcoming technical roadblocks d. Project management knowledge; PMP, Agile or CBPP certified preferable. e.
