Facilitates the discovery of as-is and to-be business processes. Documents business processes in a manner that facilitates long term maintenance, business process automation, and process improvement. May work as a part of a development team acting as the business representative/advocate on software development projects. Years of Relevant Experience: Two plus years of experience. Preferred Education: Four year college degree or equivalent business analysis experience or technical study. • Work collaboratively as part of the project team. • Utilize business analysis, facilitation, communication, team collaboration skills and tools in working with stakeholders, completing deliverables and meeting project timelines. • Complete business analysis activities to meet project goals including, identifying business needs producing as-is and to-be work flows and business requirement documentation, determining and validating solutions as part of YES project assignments. Work will include facilitating and collaborating with variety of State Agency, Division and Department staff, outside contractors and business partners to meet project identified goals and deliverables such as business requirements, working with business and system resources to validate design for meeting requirements, participating in pilots, performing testing, and providing documentation for solutions that align with project, operational, policy and program goals and objectives. • Work with customer business units to understand their business processes. • Develop performance metrics for successful business process management initiatives. • Develops workflow design and process improvement. Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Skill and knowledge include but are not limited to: • Proficient in developing business process flows, business requirements and process documentation. Met by minimum 2 years business analysis experience where business process analysis was a primary responsibility and utilized analytical and facilitation skills and software tools to develop business process flows, requirements and process documentation. • Working understanding of project management methodologies, tools and resources. • Strong customer service, communication and facilitation skills. • Work with customer business units to understand their business processes. • Develops performance metrics for successful business process management initiatives. • Does workflow design and process improvement. • Experience implementing change management to professional SMEs including process change. • Extra consideration will be given for candidates with experience in Governmental Human Services Projects. • A good understanding of due process and the political landscape of a governmental agency is preferred.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
