IDL requires the assistance of an experienced business analyst to document as-is and to-be workflows and high level requirements in these business areas, as well as perform a gap analysis between the high level requirements and systems available on the market to meet the identified business needs. Work location: IDL Coeur dAlene Staff Office (3284 West Industrial Loop, Coeur dAlene, Idaho) Limited in-state travel may be required for this position. Agency Expected Deliverables The Business Analyst will coordinate with the CIO and project stakeholders to: - Interview internal and external stakeholders involved in wildland fire billing and wildland fire cost estimation processes - Elicit and document high level requirements for wildland fire billing and wildland fire cost estimation processes - Document as-is and to-be workflows in these process areas - Complete and document a gap analysis between the high level requirements and systems (identified by IDL) available on the market Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Experience: Two plus years of experience in business analysis Education: Four (4) year college degree or equivalent technical study Description of skills and knowledge include: - Expertise in business analysis - Expertise in requirements elicitation from diverse stakeholders, including documentation of as-is and to-be workflows, use cases, and other traditional business analysis techniques - Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills - Basic knowledge of wildland fire suppression terminology and concepts preferred but not required   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
