Provides direction, mentoring, and methodologies to create large scale change with appropriately implement learning and practice sessions. Facilitates the discovery of as-is and to-be business processes. Support the documentation of business processes in a manner that facilitates long term maintenance, business process automation, and process improvement. Expected to work across may levels of the business organization, from executive leadership to development teams to provide business strategies for implementations, representative/advocate on process redesigns, and software-enabled business plans and projects. This limited-hours contract, anticipated to be about 500 hours per year (approximately ¼ time) is for a highly specialized training expert who will assist in developing in major business changes (business process based and automation based) and associated pre-implementation, implementation, and post implementation monitoring of changes. Currently has needs for this training expertise within the Division of Welfare and the Division of Family and Community Services. With the limited budget for this position (1/4 time), the successful candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience working with training systems, within a major Division. Additionally, the individual must be able to effectively communicate and transfer experience and knowledge to existing staffing This position can work remotely but is expected to make regular contact with business units in Boise and other individuals located in various offices around the state. While these interactions can occur through web-meetings it is likely that one or two times a year a meeting in Boise, to coordinate large scale activities, will be necessary. Agency Expected Deliverables Years of Relevant Experience: Four plus years of experience. At least 2 years experience Preferred Education: Four-year college degree or equivalent technical study. Skills and knowledge in the following areas. • Work with customer business units to understand their business processes. • Work with customer business units to implement business changes through appropriate deployment methodologies • Teach and/or develop performance metrics for successful business process implementations and post implementation monitoring • Can create and use business workflow designs, create pre-implementation planning, and identify process improvements. Specific Skills Required (Programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc.) Must have working knowledge of a modern HHS automated case management system (eligibility, child support, or child welfare) and hands-on experience with DHWs Division of Welfare (SR) or Division of Family and Community Services (FACS). Must have extensive knowledge and experience working within DHWs training systems with specific examples of large scale successful implementations.
