Description The IT Security Analyst will be accountable for assisting in the ongoing support of the technology platform and the overall security of the environment. They will, as a member of a team, also be accountable for the execution of regular security activities. They should be experienced supporting Windows server environments in medium or large environments and be competent in their understanding and support of network platforms. Responsibilities: Support, upgrade, and secure Windows applications as assigned. Review IT security policies and procedures and recommend changes wherever appropriate. Support the overall IT department as a member of the on-call rotation. Execute security enhancements, changes, and fixes to firewalls, routers, and other devices as necessary. Serve as a security domain expert on the infrastructure team and act as a resource to other teams. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in information technology topic or equivalent experience. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good problem-solving and creative thinking. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Maintains direction and focus through proactive planning and an organized approach to work. Experience managing the following technologies: Microsoft server platforms VMware (ESXi/vSphere) and/or Hyper-V Cisco and Palo Alto networking and firewalls.
