Job Description Developer: Website Designer, Web Designer, Section 508 Compliance, CSS OCM

*Description:
The Client is seeking a website developer to create and develop an engaging and user friendly website to host iCOPE— Interdisciplinary Curriculum for Oncology Palliative Care Education. The iCOPE project was funded by the National Cancer Institute to
develop and evaluate an interdisciplinary curriculum for medical, nursing, social work and chaplaincy students. This initiative is the first inter-professional education program of its kind in the United States. The curriculum has been developed and tested over the past five years at the University of Louisville is now ready for national distribution.

*Technical Information:
*Website must have at a minimum support 1024 X 768 and 1366 X 768 screen resolutions but should also include responsive design to support almost all media devices and platforms.
*Website must have functionality across all Window and MAC platforms. It must also be compatible across mobile platforms including iPhone, Android, Windows and Google.
*The website must be Section 508 compliant.
*The website will be cross-browser compatible and compliant to CSS standards.
*The website will have the ability to upload and download documents.
*The website will have the ability to view YouTube/Vimeo videos.
*The website will have the ability for visitors to download video and high resolution photography.
*The website will have a secure section for educators to log in before accessing official iCOPE materials.
*The selected firm will work with the University of Louisville Health Science Center Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM) and the Program Coordinator of the iCOPE project and will provide a fully-functioning website.
