Duties: • Develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs • Gather requirements and functional specifications • Develop specifications • Develop Project Scope • Assess current software systems and identify areas in need of improvement • Oversee development team • Build and integrate information systems to meet the agencys needs • Assess current system architecture • Work with business technical staff to recommend solutions to improve current architecture • Resolve technical issues as they arise • Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes • Assess business impact that the technical choices have Experience and Qualifications: o Experience with low code/no code solutions a plus o Experience in organizations with immature data governance capabilities, including standardized data vocabularies and related capabilities (business glossaries, data dictionaries, etc.) o AWS and/or Azure (Cloud) experience o Medicaid or other large healthcare or claims processing experience o Proven experience in solution architecture o Thorough knowledge of SDLC o Previous project management experience o In-depth understanding of Microsoft technology including but not limited to the .NET framework and SQL o Experience with agile development methodologies o Significant experience as a software developer o Excellent interpersonal skills o Strong organizational and leadership skills Education: o Bachelors degree in computer science or related degree (or equivalent work experience/specialized training) in IT or related discipline.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
