Primary Responsibilities The Sr. Business Analyst takes the lead role in: • Managing agency stakeholder relationships and expectations to ensure that they have a positive experience when working with EEA IT. • Working with business leaders and end-users to research current state business processes • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and develop process optimization strategies and recommendations to align future state flows with technology capabilities. • Independently leading requirements sessions and facilitate conceptual design sessions with business audiences and technical teams. • Leading user story writing and grooming activities with product owners and SMEs to ensure that stories are ready for the development. • Documenting high level business requirements, detailed system requirements and field level specifications. • Understanding current state and future state data models and taking lead to map source to target data schemas for migration. • Using software design best practices to sketch or produce low-fidelity wireframes as a visual artifact to aid in requirements gathering. • Testing software delivered by the development team to ensure readiness and completeness prior to release for business testing and engaging with business users during User Acceptance Testing. • Analyzing business process data and produce metrics dashboards to aid in management and executive reviews. • Participating in Business Analysis strategy meetings to identify and discuss shared solutions approaches. Qualifications • 4 year degree in business administration, management, computer programming or a related field • 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience as a business systems analyst • Strong conceptualization and visual communication abilities • Ability to communicate with non-technical (business) and technical (developer) audiences • Experience with user interface design patterns and User-Centered Design methods • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment • Strong working knowledge of agile software development, including Scrum, Kanban, etc. • Comfort working in a fluid environment where visions and requirements may change • Understanding of relational databases and API methods • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Must have experience leading requirements gathering sessions • Proficiency using the following tools: MS Office productivity apps, Office 365, Jira, Asana, SharePoint, Power BI, Axure • Certificates in Business Analysis, Agile-Scrum, Six Sigma are a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
