Responsibilities: * Develop high level upgrade roadmap detailing time/resources/finances for analysis, procurement, and deployment phases of upgrading ten racks of servers, san arrays, backup drives, and network devices * Work with small team of infrastructure engineers to layout backup and disaster recovery environments * Develop detailed plans for the hardware transition including unit, system, and user acceptance testing * Manage business continuity risk for the agency during the transition * Work with agency leadership to explore facility options for disaster recovery environments * Flourish within the Common Wealths procurement processes and thoroughly document each milestone * Create the plan and lead the execution of a disaster recovery cut over test * Work with other Massachusetts agencies to transition onto agency specific VOIP system Required Skills: * Specific experience leading infrastructure transition/upgrade projects * Specific experience with project management in a data center environment * 10 – 15 years of job experience in information technologies roles with at least 4 years as a project/program manager * Thorough knowledge of modern data center technologies including virtualization, clustering, backup, MPLS circuits, NAS/SAN arrays, power management etc. * Bachelors of Science in a technical degree program   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
