Description :

Client is seeking a Jr. Systems Engineer/Systems Administrator to work as a team member in our Production Support group within the Information Technology Unit.

Responsibilities:

This position will primarily concentrate on the design, engineering, implementation and support of middleware infrastructure which supports both intranet and internet facing systems including applications on our site.
Responsible for evaluating new and ongoing projects that need middleware solutions and provide designs within the consolidated environment or design standalone solutions.

Work with peers, software developers, database administrators, network administrators, and various internal client departments to understand their business requirements and provide a viable solution using middleware standards. Collaborate and interact with architecture team for future road mapping for the middleware environment which currently includes Oracle Weblogic suite and Provide on-going 3rd tier support for Weblogic Server, Security Portal, VMware platform, while partnering with other 3rd tier support Specialists on other state agencies Web Infrastructure Software products. Address security and audit findings.

Required Skills:

? Oracle Weblogic 9,10, IIS 7, IIS 7.5
? Windows 2008 Server Administration
? VMware Administration
Essential/Preferred Skills:
• Experience in Enterprise Application Integration Domain on Oracle Service Bus and Weblogic
• Experience in Designing and Developing Integration Solutions
• Knowledge of Messaging Concepts (JMS, MQ, API and/or any other)
• Some experience on Oracle Weblogic Integration (WLI)
• Some programming experience, preferably Java.
