The database programmer will develop solutions using the full suite of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 tools including: SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS, and SSRS. The programmer will work with the Task Tracker team and deliver solutions related to the Outbound Education Verification process that follows CMS guidelines to ensure compliance windows are met. The developer will work hand in hand with analysts and testers to ensure all steps in the software development life cycle are followed. As a senior member of the team, they will participate in brain storming sessions for possible architecture improvements and ways to solve problems. They will write requirements for proposed changes, and develop and implement solutions. The senior database programmer will work on a rotation schedule to implement production releases Primary Responsibilities: Develop stored procedures and SSIS packages per business requirements Perform unit level analysis on all work done before handing over to the testing team Provide feedback to technical analysts on suggested system enhancements and changes to technical requirements Write requirements for architecture changes Develop SSRS reports to meet the needs of end business users Troubleshoot bugs in production environment Work with testing team to understand and fix document bugs Document all work, both via comments in code, and in written technical specification documents Maintain accurate and organized notes on the status of development projects Work with technical analysts to provide estimates for new development requests Requirements: Bachelors Degree or 10+ years as a SQL developer 5+ years of experience as a SQL developer Knowledge of: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 tools including: SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS, and SSRS Strong understand of relation databases and database design Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle Strong technical writing skills Assets: Prior healthcare experience Prior fulfillment experience Minimum Education Requriement Bachelors Degree   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
