Job Description Analyst: Proxy Tier, Load Balancers, WAN Acceleration, WireShark

This is a Network Analyst position.

Utilizing company standard problem determination tools, the candidate would support, capture and analyze Voice, Data and AV traffic throughout a worldwide network. Candidate would provide a single point of contact for escalation of troubleshooting of all hardware and software problems in a multiprotocol environment. Candidate would analyze and interrupt data traffic from tools to provide insight to owner of product for optimization for high availability for business use. Ultimate goal is a Data forensic Analyst that can communicate and document issues that will result in providing resolution.

Required Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot monitor sessions on switchgear for missing conversations between hosts, Ability to know how to find hosts connected on the network via layer 3 and 2 and determining why monitor sessions may or may not be properly capturing the data we need to collect constantly for future troubleshooting needs, Ability to visualize the flow of data across complex networks to best determine where to deploy future taps and spans, Ability to troubleshoot applications based on dependencies which might not be getting met, The candidate should have experience in a troubleshooting environment which have had proxy, load balancers, possible WAN accelerators, Wireshark experience is an absolute must.

Desired Skills:
Riverbed ARX - high level application troubleshooting; Riverbed Steele Packet Analyzer - high level application troubleshooting; Gigamon - capture packets and aggregating data to tool ports for analysis; GigaStor - storage of data for backwards looking analysis; NetScout PM - an analysis and report generating packet software; Infinistream advanced analyzer - an analysis and report generating packet software; Ixia/Anue - capture packets and aggregating data to tool ports for analysis; Cisco Data Broker - packet broker that offers scalable and programmable network tap and Switched Port Analyzer (SPAN) aggregation and network traffic monitoring.
