The initiatives include the development of new assessments and process improvements to existing assessments. These assessments include Early Literacy, State Summative, Michigan Merit, Students with Disabilities, and English Learners. This development will also include a comprehensive Educational Assessment Reporting and Accountability Program to provide timely measurement and reporting of educational assessment results. The person in this role will work closely with business users and the internal and external project teams to analyze business requirements in order to create project test scenarios and provide feedback on the actual system implementation of the business logic. You will create test plans, test cases, and will participate in user acceptance testing to ensure that the highest quality products are released to production. Projected tasks are: • Design, document and execute test procedures Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation. Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies. Years of Experience: 7-10 years of experience in the field. Required Skills: * Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL direct hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs * Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities * Ability to communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management * Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies * Proficiency with all MS Office and Visio applications * Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and related methodologies (e.g. CMMI, Agile, or other industry standard) * Direct experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
