The selected candidate will be required to perform hands-on programming and testing of Java code, relational databases and cryptographic libraries and drivers in the Amazon AWS EC2 compute and S3 storage clouds, using AWS RDS, AWS KMS and AWS HSM. She/he will be required to design and develop programs that can test encryption functionality of relational databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle etc.), flat files and confidential/restricted data elements. Will participate in interactions with AWS and encryption technology vendors to obtain detailed technical information (if required) and ensure that technical obstacles are overcome so as to be compliant with the application data encryption objectives and security requirements of our company. Will coordinate with the vendor support team(s) to ensure issues impacting our company are resolved quickly and effectively. Will participate in interactions with technical, engineering and non-technical partners across the Enterprise for the implementation of encryption technologies listed above.
