We are looking for a self-starter that will help us Identify, develop and optimize key Investment Operations. This individual will be a key member of the Investment Operations team during the day and as prioritized develop new solutions to help digitize and automate Investment operations. A strong desire and willingness to learn investments and quickly dissect operational processes is required in order to be successful in this role. You will be responsible for driving automation efforts forward working with both business resources as you learn key processes and gather business needs. You will then work with other technical IT resources to assist with the development and testing to ensure alignment with our IT architecture. Strong communication skills will enable you to correspond with and provide updates to various levels of management and key stakeholders. Your accomplishments in this position will translate to Allianz Investment Management meeting our 2018 and beyond goals and vision of high digitalization and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities Learn key investment operation processes by performing these functions and recommending front-to-back automated solutions to eliminate manual steps and increase quality. Design and improve software systems for investment operations processes. This includes gathering business needs, developing solutions in various platforms (C#, VBA, or .Net etc.) and train users on the new functionality. Collaborate with IT to develop automated interfaces to core systems and solutions to client requests (ex. Reporting needs) Project manages multiple automation projects and provides written / verbal updates to management. Key Requirements/Skills/Experience Minimum Requirements: 1-4 years experience required: of Software Development, preferably but not required in the Investments or Finance-related industry(s) Four-year degree required: IT, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent Object oriented programming experience (ex.
