Job Description Engineer: Windows Server 2003 And 2008, Windows Server 2012, VMWare ESXi, san EMC Linux

** Only W2 Employee - No Subcontracting

** Can submit only Green Card and Citizens

** Can submit at higher rate

*** Over Time is paid at 1.420 times
OT - Extra Hours on Weekdays and Saturdays

*** Double Time is paid at 2.0 times
DT - Hours worked on Sundays


Description :

Essential Job Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with multiple departments on large projects.
* Responsible for providing advice to infrastructure personnel regarding application design specifications for segments of an application.
* Responsible for analyzing the needs of the customer and business unit and recommending solutions for applications and computer systems.
* Responsible for researching and evaluating vendor products to make recommendations for the purchase and/or upgrade of applications and computer systems.
* Assists in the planning and execution of large scale infrastructure related projects.
* Anticipates and mitigates potential security breaches through network connections to ensure security.
* Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university or related experience.
Area of specialization: Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering
Job Related Experience:
* Five to ten years or equivalent education/experience.

Additional Skills/Knowledge: Bullet format
* Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
* Windows networking and troubleshooting
* VMware ESXi
* VMware Horizon 6
* Backup management, prefer Commvault
* SAN Experience, prefer EMC
* Microsoft Active Directory, domain administration duties
* Network monitoring and configuration experience
* Centralized Anti-Virus management
* Change management
* Documentation of changes and problem resolutions through ticketing or change management
* Need to be able to understand complex networks running through multiple firewalls
* Need to have working knowledge of PCI compliance
* Must be experienced with Microsoft and VMware products, experience with Linux a plus
