ReEmployMS Modernization and Microservicing The project management office will coordinate and oversee all project management activities related to the implementation of the above-identified projects. The MDES UI secured funding through several grants issued by the United States Department of Labor, including ARPA Integrity (UIPL 11-23), ARPA Tiger Team (UIPL 11-23), Equity (UILP 23-21), and ARPA UI Modernization (UIPL 11-23) to implement the projects identified above. Unemployment Insurance (UI) is a joint state-federal program that provides weekly benefits to eligible workers. UI benefits are intended to provide temporary financial assistance to unemployed workers who are unemployed through no fault of their own. MDES UI provides unemployment insurance services to approximately 6,300 participants monthly. MDES UI must comply with Federal and State guidelines and reporting requirements.
